The Truth be Told -- The REAL Story of how Bronson and I met

For years, I imagined meeting the "Love of my Life", the prince charming from a class at college, love at first sight. We would see each other from across the lecture hall and the next class, we would just HAPPEN to sit close enough to talk, he would ask me out on a date, and the rest would be history! HAH!! Oh how far reality was from this dream. Everything that i had ever imagined and hoped for, could not have been more incorrect.

For all those who wondered how we met, we just simply told,
"Oh, we just met at school...."
Because it would be so much easier to understand.

We did not just meet at school. Bronson and I met on a popular phone app called, Tinder.

For those who are unfamiliar with what Tinder is, it is a dating/matchmaking app that uploads 5 pictures from your Facebook profile, to create your Tinder profile. It then will show you prospective matches within a 100 mile radius. You look at pictures of each person and have TWO choices. Decline, and swipe left << or Accept, and swipe right>>. When two people mutually swipe right, they then can talk in a setting similar to a Facebook message.

To get straight to the point, Bronson and I both Swiped Right.>>

That is how we began to spark this fire of Love.
AHAHAH.... Oh boy.
How ironic is it that the symbol of the app is a fire (as pictured below) and our first date, we sat around a fire for most of the night.

SO to move on with the story...

On our first date, I would NOT let him come pick me up from my dorm room so I remember after hours of getting ready, nervously walking down to meet him in the parking lot. Butterflies fluttered around in my stomach when I heard his voice and approached his dark shadow. We walked to a fire pit right by my apartment; sat and awkwardly tried to get to know each other. Temperatures began to drop, (and myself, from Boise, Idaho was definitely not dressed in enough layers to be outside in Logan during the fall?!?) so he took me for a ride in his BIG blue truck. And needless to say, I was very impressed!!

We went for a drive to North Logan up Hyde Park canyon and as we looked over the
beautifully lit city of Logan, It began to snow for the first time that year. It might not seem like much but if you knew me, you would know that I am in love with the snow and it meant the world to me.

I was amazed at how things just kind of fell into place that night.

Now, Bronson doesn’t know… but he reminded me SO much of my father and represented everything I had ever dreamed for in a guy. (Went on a mission, to South Africa, loves riding snowmobiles, treated and still does treat me like a princess, patient, strong, works hard, and not to mention tall, dark, and handsome!!). It kind of freaked me out how perfect he is and I was NOT ready for something too serious in my life at that time so I just knew it was not going to work out between us! BUT, I am very grateful for my roommate that pushed me to stick through it for a while, really get to know him and to just have fun. I went back to Boise for Christmas break and we kept talking. When I came back to Logan, we started steady dating and

HE fell in love with ME hahah!! Or was it the other way around???

Definitely the latter!

Bronson proposed on May 22, 2014 in Boise, once again in the mountains up on a plateau called Table Rock where we looked over the city at night.

The sun did eventually go down :0)

Bronson has been thee BEST thing that has ever happened to me!!!

He is crazy, makes me laugh and is truly the love of my life.
Here are a few of my favorite moments together.

We LOVE snowmobiling, and as I said before, I live to be in the snow.
No question... Snowmobiling.

The one and only time he has ever ATTEMPTED to do my hair...
Don't even ask about the time he tried to paint my nails!!!

Always making me laugh. We took a trip to Texas for my Cousin Averee's baptism.
Went canoeing as a BIG ol' Family, and we were all laughs when Bronson fell in the river as he was getting into the Canoe.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS a good laugh.

A SURPRISE visit to Logan for Bronson's Birthday. It was so much fun to keep this from him and see his reaction... I mean LOOK at that excitement on his face ;0)
Happy Birthday Baby!!! May 14, 2014

Skype dates every night when we were away from each other all summer.
I think we both can attest that it was a very LONG summer!!!

So many fun memories with this kid and cannot wait for

more to come as we start this journey of life together.

I'm Almost Done, I PROMISE!!!
But hopefully, THIS will make it worth it.

Here is a little sneak peak of our Bridal Photo Shoot.

We are getting married on the 14th of October in the Salt Lake City temple and we, I, could not be more excited to get to spend, not only life to learn and grow together, but all of eternity. It is so crazy the way heavenly father works, to put both of us in the right place at the right time! I am forever grateful.
